About
For the past 10 years, hundreds of schools and over
50,000 students worldwide have been enjoying
learning Hebrew with the innovative iHebrew™
program by Ulpan-Or.
iHebrew™ is a one stop shop for institutional Hebrew teaching, providing both students and teachers with personalized access to the ACTFL based level
classification materials.
We have designed online interactive comprehensive materials spanning through ten levels – from a total beginner to the very advanced, weekly news, holiday activities and various Israeli culture contents!

K-4 program
The Stages Curriculum is a specially designed Hebrew program for Grade 1 through 4/5 students, focused on developing reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in a fun and interactive way. Our unique methodology supports natural language acquisition, mimicking how a child learns their first language. Through immersive activities, engaging materials, and carefully structured lesson plans, students are guided to internalize Hebrew in a way that feels intuitive and enjoyable. Teachers benefit from clear guidance, comprehensive plans, and ready-made resources, including songs and interactive exercises, which enhance the learning experience for both students and educators.

Teacher Training grades 4-12
Our training program consists of 3 interactive virtual live-sessions, each lasting 120 minutes, along with a follow-up session.
Throughout the training, teachers acquire the knowledge and confidence necessary to deliver outstanding Hebrew lessons that both inspire and engage your students. You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of the Ulpan-Or method and its implementation, while also gaining practical experience in designing lesson plans and structuring lesson flows.
Digital training and live sessions are held in Hebrew.
Regular mentoring sessions can be purchased to guide the teachers throughout the year.
We recommend that all of our teachers attend a refresher workshop to follow updates, changes and innovations, at least once a year.

Kindergartens & Grades 1-4
The training consists of a 2-hour virtual live-session led by our Didactic Program Manager. This session covers the introduction of content, the theoretical foundation for second language teaching, and practical application of the method, including demonstrations.
Additionally, a follow-up meeting is included as an integral part of the training, designed to address questions, challenges, and delve deeper into
various aspects of the method.
Digital training and live sessions are held in Hebrew.

Kindergarten
Getting to know the Hebrew letters (print) and active vocabulary through experiential learning, Hebrew songs and fun!
Stage One
Mastering the Hebrew Alpha-Bet (reading & writing) and basic speech in Hebrew to first graders who don’t read.
Stage Two
Fast-track for mastering the Hebrew Alpha-Bet (reading & writing), designed for 2-3 graders who don’t read or need additional review of the Alpha-Bet upon completing stage 1.
Stage Three
Improving writing and reading skills for 2-3 graders, who are familiar with the Alpha-Bet but struggle. Holding basic conversations in Hebrew.
Stage Four
Achieving fluency and comprehension in reading for 2-4 graders, who are familiar with the Alpha-Bet and can read slowly. Improving conversations skills in Hebrew.
Hebrew Level Assessment
We all know how overloaded teachers can be. The desire to teach, to provide an emotional
and academic response, to manage a class, check assignments, prepare lessons and more,
create a tremendous workload on the teacher. All this in combination with the desire to
give personal attention to each student.
To make it easier for you, we have created a fast and easy-to-use level assessment for
Spanish speakers, in which you receive reference to all four language components:
reading, writing, speaking and understanding.
The children submit the form and you get a quick and accurate picture of each student’s
situation.
